METHODIC 1.5

DON'T FORGET TO BUY METHODIC ON DVD BEFORE YOU WATCH THIS FILM!!!

Taking place in between the events of the first film and the forth coming sequel, Methodic 1.5 tells the story of a parolee, given a second chance at life, who falls victim to the viral, infectious control of the evil Dollman.

A WORD FROM CHRIS

This film was made as a way to help boost interest, as well as sales for my feature film, Methodic, which is now available on DVD. 1.5 is meant to shed some light on some possible questions raised by the first film and also to create some hype for the coming feature sequel, Methodic II.

1.5 was shot in three day's time in the blistering August heat. The reasoning behind my choice in story was simple, I wanted to cement to fans, that the Dollman is indeed a spirit as well as a virus (so to speak). For some people, the possession is instant, like with the characters in the feature, but for others, it is a slow and agonizing process. In the case of 1.5, our main character, Mark is a recovering drug user fresh out of prison on parole. His daughter comes into contact (off screen) with one of the characters from the film, and like a virus, the Dollman is passed onto Mark via his daughter. Not everyone can become possessed. It's kind of like the way Freddy Krueger was treated in Freddy VS Jason or Candyman. Just the mention of his name is enough to trigger an encounter. In the Dollman's case, it's a possession.

In the way of the Shining, or Amityville Horror, I wanted to show a decay in the optimistic personality of Mark and how the Dollman basically ruins every good thing about his hosts. With that being said, I think it's safe to say, the Dollman is a real asshole.

Thanks for watching, thanks for reading and be sure to pick your copy of Methodic online or in stores today.
